Q: What is the thing you love most about your hair?
A: I love the softness, their flexibility and the fact that it is healthy.
Q: What is the thing you hate most about your hair?
A: The shrinkage, but I must admit that I sometimes play with this characteristic.
Q: Why are you an au naturelle chic?
A: Because I was tired of the vicious cycle of relaxing my hair: always going to the hairdresser every two/three months, always hoping that I would have more length, in reality always breaking my hair, always having rough, dull and brittle hair and always spend a lot of money for damaging my hair! I am reconciled with myself and with my banker.
Q: Do you have a regimen? If so, dish!
A: Yes I have a regimen and it is pretty simple:
- It consists of a shampoo without SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) weekly followed by a mask enriched with palm oil. After this treatment, I rinse my hair with an apple cider vinegar rinse. I put some detangling milk without petrolatum, mineral oil, silicones (I create my own products) before a vegetable oil and I braid my hair.
- I do not use any hairdryer. Daily, I apply a moisturizing milk followed by an light oil (grapeseed oil generally).
- I protect my hair every night with a satin cap and I pamper my ends with some castor oil.
- I have tried a lot of others regimens (I often copy the regimen of girls who seem to have the same hair type as mine) but this simple regimen that I have created by observing my hair works far better for me! Trust me, even if you think that you have exactly the same hair as another person, it is almost sure that in reality you haven't.
Q: What is the hardest thing about being natural?
A: Living in a humid and warm country, lol! I am joking because it is not hard to be natural but sometimes it difficult to maintain all day the very great twist out that you have finally succeeded to create the exact way that you have created it in the morning...
Q: You're about to shipwreck on an island full of fabulous people and you can only save 3 hair products. What are they?
A: Palm oil, a shampoo, a moisturizing and detangling hair milk (there will surely have a little place in my bag for a hair conditioner... ;-) hoping that there will have also a source of water on this island...
